Father, Either You Do or You Don’t !

By Evangelist Linda J – Very early Christmas Eve 2017

I was reading the book of Matthew this morning I’m trying to go back to basics, away from the gadgets and the things that titillate. I woke at 3:00 am..I am waiting listening to hear a word. Two coffees later, I am reading Matthew Chapter 8 in particular. I see something fresh and new again.

As my ministry and passion is for seeing Kingdom come and breakthrough in healing (not just for the select few but all) and raising deliverers, I am led to write and to pray :

We don’t have to be present to heal. Just to say the word.

We don’t have to say anything to meet a need, just reach out and touch and let the compassionate Jesus within us, do the work.

Let’s lay down all our stuff and busyness and let King Jesus do his work.

Prayer

Father, either you lived and did and desired to do, or you didn’t and don’t!! For me, it is as simple as that.

I am taking you at your Word, based on my own knowing and knowledge of you in my life and knowing that you did and do, and want to..

Father, I believe when You said ‘greater things shall we do because you go back to the Father’. In your name, help us to just do of your good pleasure. To see the sick healed and those imprisoned, set free.

Help us to step out in faith, without wavering. Knowing that he that wavers is like the sea and will accomplish nothing.

You have given us delegated power and the buck stops with us. Help us to not get in the way with our high handed, high minded, do-gooding, self righteous, religious ways; ways which blind, cloaks, chokes or ensnares others. None of us are exempt.

Help us just to practice the simplicity of the gospel of grace. Not hiding or withholding Truth (through fear of rejection with fake uncomfortable smiles, fake hearts and fake humility, which I know you know, and see), but ministering to others from a heart which loves first, a heart without judgement, malice , oneupmanship, selfishness or pride.

Take us back to the simplicity of your Word. Increase a hunger for it. Your Word (not mine, mice or men) remains the lamp to our feet and the only light to our path.
