Many years ago, I was waiting for something from the Lord. During my time of waiting He comforted me , taught me his word and brought me this one ‘let patience have her perfect work’ … James 1:4
I waited 10 years for its fulfilment, but what he promised came through much humbling, learning and increased wisdom, knowledge and understanding, including the shifting of the stumbling blocks and the demise of some of my adversaries.
In this season, I am waiting for something, nay many things…On Wednesday and Thursday night , I had two revelations that a deposit has been made and the other important thing I am waiting for, is mine!! – I saw the papers (not the detail ) but handwriting on parchment, written in my favour.
On Friday morning, I woke and went to work and was innocently making a cup of tea in the kitchen when a colleague said “what is that stuck on the back of your dress”…. I shrieked imagining the worst …. my colleague lifted up my hem and picked off a very small round sticker . She laughed , the sticker said ‘passed’ – you’ve passed. We both laughed but immediately I knew it was a word from the Lord and second confirmation of my dream.
I have come to know my Father’s voice and that He confirms his words with signs following . He speaks in threes. Father, Son and Holy Ghost – He reveals his word for us through dreams and revelations , both in the day and night seasons.
Are you waiting for something? Let me encourage and speak over you :
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on thy own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. He is able to bring that thing to pass that you are seeking him for, consistent with his good will for your life. It is not always comfortable waiting, God knows, I know….. but I know that in quietness and rest shall be your strength.
Let patience have her perfect work. I know you too will have a testimony.
