A prayer and a time of fasting for our families, city, nations, loved ones. 4/2/18
Write the vision, make it plain, that they those who ‘see’ (not everyone sees…) may run with it.

My God, my God, our inner cities and streets are a microcosm of the state of our world. They represents the brokenness and darkness in our world, in our families and the nations. I see men walking with alcoholic drink in hand even before midday. Others walking like zombies, dead men. Lost, not knowing whether they are coming or going. Disenfranchised, broken men and women. A young woman with ravished ,rotten teeth – an older lady with the world on her shoulders, toppling and tumbling, not knowing where she would sleep tonight. Somebody’s mother, grandmother, somebody’s daughter. My God does anyone care? Bandaged and broken (some her own doing) but rejected by state and government – evicted, tossed out , left to fend or to die.
Today, as some of us continue to dedicate a time of fasting and wrestling with the Lord (1st Sunday of the month) for all these situations we know of. May he give us strength to break through for our city and loved ones.
We wrestle on the behalf of those who have not yet made a covenant with God. Those we know, those sent across our paths, those we will meet. We will not be silent.
Salvation comes from mount Zion and we are the saviours of the world. Let our beautiful feet tread the courts of the Heaven today for our children our loved ones. Wrestle for, and claim that soul in prayers and in fasting. Wrestle and worship the King.
As I stood yesterday with others and flicked through the bible to find something to ‘speak’ to the nations in the open air in my own town and city, the Lord gave me Revelation 22 . I share it again today for it is this promised picture and vision of restoration we claim and which we will stand on:
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their forehead”
Father we declare that a river runs through our city our nation. The highways and byways of our town.
We put Derby, The UK , Jamaica , parts of Canada and San Fransicsco before you. Let your Holy stream, your life, wash away everything that is halt, that is lame that is blind, that is not of your divine Order. Cleanse our streets , heal our land.
Lord ? Who made mans mouth? You. Turn cursing to blessing. Let that crooked, twisted, mouth praise you. Release a spirit of prophetic prayer in the land.
Lord, we declare our town and our cities are places of revival and places renown for blessings not curses. As we declare our city our nation, a thing of beauty, let light shine on our way.
Lord let the tree of life (which is Jesus) branch and bud in Derby, in our families, our city, nations, towns and let the divine shoots, seeds and foliage be for the adorning and healing of the nations. Let there be extension, connections , regeneration for good, for you and the gospel, of your dear son, Jesus.
Your word already declared
“For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.”
Righteous springs forth today for our children, our cities our nation and our loved ones.
For Derby’s sake and for the sake of the Kingdom we do not hold our peace, and for Jerusalem and for your name sake, we will take no rest, until righteousness goes forth in our streets as brightness, and the salvation is the lamp that burns in each house and heart .
Lord take away the curse, the stain, the shame the blot from our loved ones. Those that have made a covenant with death, wake them up !
Take them out of the valley and the shadow of death. Break through the gloom.
It is time for their release and we command it, in Jesus Name.
We name all the loved ones , the situations :
………………………..
Lord give us an increased passion for souls. Take us out of our comfort zones.
Lord we say we care, but we have become hardened – jostling for things, caught up with the things of this world , the works of men and our flesh.
Lord , It is so easy to say, but to do , we struggle. Satan’s crooked fingers beckons. Sin has become normalised and stands waiting, knocking at our doors.Help us my God. Deliver us from evil.
Lord, If we don’t make it , what says those who come behind us? Our children, our children’s children ? The next generation. Have mercy.
Lord, for our seed sake, we plead. Bring back holiness. Bring back supplication. Bring back righteousness. Not religion, not new methods, not abuses of power and human control, but righteousness.
Bring back divine, ordained authority. Spirit filled leaders with compassion and passion and your name emblazoned on their hearts.
Let truth and justice reign. Bring back a thirst a wanting, a knowing of you. Bring back wisdom and understanding , that quiet and meek spirit, which is of great price to you.
Turn, turn , turn the keys to our hearts. Let life and light flood in again. Let it be that light that shatters that darkness in any chamber, in any place of despair. In areas of any need or want bring healing blessing and restoration. Let every bubble be a blessing.
My God revival starts with us . The household of faith. May we step out in faith. May we push the envelope. Proclaim your word.
My God and my King, remember your promise . If two on earth agree anything… it shall be done of our Father. Where there is unity in the spirit and in all things , you command the blessing.
We are in agreement for the saving of our souls, for our children , for our unsaved family members :
We are in agreement For……Name them or the issue
We ask these mercies in Jesus Name
