The past few months have been the hardest I have experienced in my entire life. Coming to terms with losing my mother and being on this ‘grief journey’.
My mother was a huge encouragement to me and as we know ‘iron sharpens iron’ (Proverbs 27:17).
Mum, (Evangelist Linda J UK) was a powerful woman of God. Our home was constantly filled with worship and praise. I cherish our prayer times and the time we spent stirring each other in the spirit realm.
I attended church yesterday, the first time going without her. We often went together to church meetings or conferences. I miss fondly the times we compared notes on the spoken word and her beautiful joyful presence beside me.
The word spoken at church by a dear friend shared the importance of overcoming the trials we face and trusting in God’s plan. Often, we can be discouraged by our circumstances and question His purpose for our lives.
Be of good cheer, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
This morning I had a time of reflection and this is the time when I hear God’s voice. A song came into my spirit ‘Can’t Give Up Now’.
It is a reminder that whatever battles we are in currently, we should persist, keep the faith and remain trusting in our Father’s unchanging hand. You must understand that moving forwards will be a challenge, know it is a journey and requires strength and durability.
We may not see a way out of the storm we are in ‘but thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
We will always have trials in our lives and be tested. At this time you may feel weak and off-course. But do not lose hope!
Keep pushing and believing in His promises. Persevere in prayer as I can vouch for myself, it changes things.
Know that God has brought you through and ‘will not leave nor forsake you’ (Deuteronomy 31:8).
James 1:12 affirms ‘Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised for those who love Him’.
Prayer
Thank you, Lord, that you are our Rock and our Shield
Our Alpha and our Omega,
Our Beginning and End
Forgive us again Father, cleanse us afresh,
I pray you will heal us from any pain or suffering
Heal us from any sickness or disease, Lord
I declare when storms come ,we shall not be moved
Help us to withstand the trials and keep moving forwards in You
May we pray without ceasing,
Thank you, that you know the plans you have for us
Help us to keep trusting in you and leaning on you,
Thank you, that you will never leave us and are with us
Thank you, that we will and shall overcome
In your Precious Holy Name,
Amen.

Thank you so much for your beautiful words, my dear sister in Christ. God bless you richly 💖☺️
I, too, was blessed by Sunday’s service mainly delivered by our youth and young people. I knew I was meant to be there, and likewise, what their shared spoke personally to me too.
I thank God that He continues to use you with your ministry of God breathed messages engraved on your heart to share.
Despite our pain, loss, and yes, fears of how overwhelming circumstances can feel. The word shared clearly was God speaking into our circumstances and confirming we are over comers. We have enough faith to overcome our fears. We are blessed to have a church family who really care about us. As the young teenager conveyed in her worship mime, God’s Holy Spirit breaths a new breath of life into us daily. His breath restores dead bones to life. Our heartbeat is in line with the heartbeat of our Lord and Saviour. His blood flows through our veins. We are covered and protected by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Stepping out of the boat and staying focused on Jesus is what will keep us from sinking.
The devil thinks you can’t go on with your mother Jaeger, but hey, he’s a liar! Your mother’s legacy will always continue through you. You belong to the royal family of Jesus Christ. When two or three of us are gathered and serving together in the name of Jesus Christ, He is always in the midst. Iron does sharpen iron, and like your mother, you too will continue to put on the full armour of God. You are an over comer because Jesus defeated death and the grave! Praise God.
I thank you, Jaeger, and I thank who God surrounds you with to encourage you, support you, laugh with you, pray with you, and worship with you.
God’s word is your compass, and our Lord guides your footsteps.
God’s peace and blessings.
